This item runs true to size if you want a perfect fit. My daughter loves loose clothing so this didn't suit her. She wore it twice. It's thin and light, with thumb holes, which is always a nice touch! I recommend going up 1-2 sizes for stretch and growth. She usually wears size 6-7 and we ordered size 6x here.
