DO NOT BUY THESE! for boots and paw pads

Ok where do I start. We have a 13lb bichon that walks every day and I need extra protection for her paws because she walks so much. They arrived yesterday and I only used them ONCE this morning. This will be the last time these torture devices will touch my dog. When I put them on her at home they seemed to fit perfectly and she was comfortable walking around the house for a few minutes in them. She wasn't acting weird or anything. Then I took her on our usual 1.5 mile morning walk. During the first 100 meters, the rear wheels stepped out of traction on the pavement. So I stopped, put them back on and tightened them. We crossed the street and they left again. I put them back on and tightened. This happened about 6 times in the first half mile of our walk. After I put them back on last time, she started walking more slowly, but the shoes stayed. I thought it was just my dog walking slower because he was wearing weird shoes, but when I got home I realized it was something else entirely. When I took off the boots I noticed that they were very worn and already worn, holes were coming up in the sole, but what really bothered me was how my dog's paws looked. I could see a line on each leg where the lace was tightened, like a demarcation line. Her feet were red and purple below the line and her heels were swollen. The shoes completely cut off her circulation for nearly a mile. I couldn't believe it. DO NOT WEAR THIS ON YOUR DOG. It's awful, and they shouldn't even be allowed to sell to humans.
