I bought these boots for my son and overall they are good walking shoes. The waterproof performance proved effective on our recent hike in the rain. The fit was true to size and my son was able to walk in it comfortably. However, the boots seemed to lack enough support in the ankle area, which made my son feel a little wobbly on uneven ground. Also, the laces are difficult to properly tighten, making it difficult to achieve a snug fit. While I wouldn't be blown away by these boots, they did the job and kept my son's feet dry.
