I really wanted this to be a food source for my cat. I find it much more nutritious than other urination foods, but my cat has had poop-like "cow chops" ever since I started mixing them with her mucus. I've given it three weeks and she started drinking more water and the pee lumps got a little bigger but I can't say the poor thing is worth wasting. I sent an email to Wysong asking for help but there was no reply on the matter. I will tell you that people who are having these issues with their cat should make sure you know what is causing them. Leading urination foods are terrible! On them read the first ingredients "corn, gluten, by-product". These crappy cheap ingredients are just bulking agents for DL-methinone and low-carb, low-phosphorus foods. It's not magic, it's a very simple formula that you can use for a much healthier diet! My cat had struvite crystals and needed surgery. She vomited on prescription food every day, which got me "reading." I can't (.) recommend enough to educate myself about cat nutrition. Chances are that a pet fountain and any wet food that follows a simple formula will fix your kitty's condition. I say this from experience over two years later. I know she misses kibble, so I just wanted to give her something that wouldn't interfere with her daily routine. I also add Cosequin and Duralactin.
