I've been looking for something to carry work essentials as well as lunch and this really fits the bill. I also use it to carry my essentials to my kids' sporting events and on weekends. As long as it's strong. It's stylish and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. It's a little bigger than I expected, but the extra space was great. I like the water bottle holder on the side. So many times they have been so small that my bottle has fallen out, but it was perfectly safe in this backpack. I have not flown with this bag yet. Seems like it's a bit big for my personal item and a bit small for the carry-on. I don't use the charging port either, but I can see how that might be useful for some. I've found that my small camera bag fits perfectly inside the lunch bag when the lunch bag is removed, so I love that this section can do double duty for me. My only criticism is that I would have liked a solid divider between the lunch compartment and the main body of the bag. As others have said, the main thing is that items slide down when I put my lunch bag away, so I decided to take the lunch bag off with the backpack on the side. I also wish this compartment had 2 zippers to make it easier to seal with a lunch bag. Apart from these small inconveniences, I am delighted with this backpack!
