Bought this item for my son who goes to BMT. That's great. Indeed, this backpack has strong and durable zippers, it is true to size and very well made. What's really amazing is that it's light and roomy. I was so surprised to see how much it fits. I bought holdalls (without air) and was able to pack 8 pairs of socks, underwear, 4 pairs of compression shorts, a pair of pants, 3 pairs of shorts, 4 t-shirts, 1 pair of sneakers, flip flops, a belt, a bible, a giant toiletry bag, a 6-pocket folder filled with a notepad, papers, envelopes, writing utensils, lint roller, pack of disposable razors, glass case, sponge and a few other little things, and yet I had room for other things. I would also like to add that the measurements are true to size. keep it up perfect. The last thing you need for service man/woman is your lost checked baggage. Also, recruits have to run upon arrival, they cannot roll their luggage. Belts make it easy. They are durable, pull them out and voila, a backpack. Tuck them in and make the backpack look like a neat suitcase. Just unbelievable. It is absolutely worth buying.
