I'm an irregular runner, weigh over 200 pounds and used to wear overpronated flat foot stability shoes but wanted to try them and found them very comfortable for running on paved surfaces. I had no problems running them and didn't notice any problems afterwards. They are also great for everyday wear. I was able to get them for less than $30 so they're a great deal if you can find them on sale. There's only one problem. It seems that if the soles get wet enough, they will squeak for days or until you can dry them off. ETA: Six months later still very comfortable with basic daily use a few days a week. They squeak when wet but I'm adding a star because for less than $30 I got more than my money's worth.
