Sturdy and lightweight

I love hiking and camping, especially in the mountains. A good pair of trekking poles are essential to provide extra stability, help you negotiate dangerous sections of the trail and sometimes even hold the tent. They should be lightweight, the handle should be made of a material that won't chafe when you sweat (blisters are NOT fun), and the tips should be durable and usable in a variety of hiking situations. I already have some good poles, but they don't have cork grips and cause blisters on the third day of travel. They also wear out a bit and it's time to get new ones. And now this set of trekking poles - I love them! I've noticed many reviews raising concerns about breaking them, but I decided to try them anyway and I'm glad I did; I strongly suspect they are not tightening properly. Pros: Lightweight but very durable. Cork for the grips but a nice velvety rubber material just underneath to make adjusting the poles comfortable and easy. Lots of options that I never considered but now I'm a little excited, especially the smartphone holder that attaches to the pole. On my last trip I would have liked to have had that instead of digging out my phone when I saw something amazing. FIXED ADJUSTMENTS - When fully opening the clasp, adjust the rod to the desired length, then tighten the clear/opaque screw/bolt and then tighten the clasp firmly, these rods will not move. I tested by jumping on them and pushing them down with all my weight, slamming them onto the ground with all my strength and weight (and I'm a solid 175 pounds) and was pretty happy with how they held up . Alternative tips are very durable. and great variety. I really like the feel of the material, it doesn't feel like cheap plastic. Thick and strong is the best I can think of to describe her. The straps have a soft material on the inside that feels nice on the wrist. You can remove the ribbons from the sticks if you like and even wash them. The storage bag has the perfect accessory pocket. Since I usually pick what I need and leave the rest, I like it a lot. No lost legs! Cons: hmm. In fact, I haven't found anything yet! These poles find many uses, from day hikes to adventures. I'm so happy I decided to buy them!
