Review on πŸ“Έ SAMSUNG 32GB Evo Plus Class 10 Micro SDHC with Adapter 80MB/S (MB-MC32GA) - Pack of 5: High-Speed Memory Solution for Expandable Storage by Brad Blake

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great value for money

I've been burned by fraudulent memory cards in the past and now they're the first thing I look at when they arrive. The 5 packs I received came with Samsung Malaysia stickers and all did well in testing. (I use the old and free h2testw PC utility.) With the USB 3.0 adapter, write speeds averaged over 33MB/s - well above the 20MB/s advertised on the box. The average read speed was 85 MB/s, which is slightly (technical term) better than the advertised 80 MB/s. I haven't had any problems with Samsung cards. I don't get any criticism. These cards perform better than advertised and are only $6 each. Yes, if you have a high-performance application like 4K video streaming, you'll have to pay more for cards that offer faster write speeds. The latest 64GB EVO Select (White/Green) I tested hit 60MB/s, while the 256GB EVO Select and 512GB EVO Plus hit around 80MB/s. They also cost well over $6. If you need high performance, don't be surprised if you have to pay a premium price. These cards now perform better than advertised and are good choices for applications like Raspberry Pis and other single-board computers.
