The included guide frame helps, but still requires a bit of maneuvering to get the protective film on properly. Unless you're a perfectionist, you probably won't even notice. The feel is a bit different, but you get used to it quickly. I wouldn't say it's anti-glare, but it does reduce glare a bit. Judging by the price, it does what you need. The device has not yet been dropped, so the protection has not been tested. However, there were problems with the delivery of the product. The first package arrived and one of the two screens in the package was cracked in several places. The exchange has been requested and shipped promptly. In this package, both screens were badly damaged. Although the packaging says "glass" directly on the lid, they were shipped without protective packaging. The first came in typical Revain bubble wrap. The second was mailed in a plain plastic envelope, the thinnest I've ever seen. I'm not sure how anything made of glass is supposed to survive the journey, especially when you see how some of the delivery drivers just dropped or even threw packages in the doors next door.
