To seal or not to seal
Installation went smoothly. I taped and polished the body mount on the engine side to ensure a clean fit. As with the original, the thermostat is installed with an installation notch. After installation, I warmed up the engine and noticed that a drip had formed on the underside of the case assembly. I wasn't happy to see it. Now I have to wait for it to cool before removing the case and applying RTV sealant to the assembly. Sealant was not required, so the fit must be poor. I am not happy.
