I have been buying/using standard microfiber towels from Wal-Mart, Home Depot etc for a number of years now. Bought a new car a few months ago and have been washing my hands with commercial microfibers and found that when wiping my car they are pretty dull when it comes to absorbing water. I went ahead and bought 3 packs of Meguiar towels and wow what a difference. They are extremely absorbent compared to other microfibers and I can use them to dry the entire side of my car. I've washed them a few times so far and they work just as well as the first time I used them. A bit pricey for three towels but worth it in the end.
