Great for reassurance, comfort and sleep

We just bought a second one to give to our son at his daycare. He loves a comfortable silk blanket. It's great that it's small - he can easily carry it around and having it in his crib isn't a safety issue for me. Now the point is that when he has this blanket he gets super soft, snuggles up to it and almost falls asleep (in other words, great for napping and sleeping!). I highly recommend it.
