These gloves are good for toddlers. Velcro holds up well. Those are the only advantages of these gloves. Not only are these gloves NOT waterproof. But after using it in the snow for about 5 minutes, snow and water were drawn into the interior of these gloves and the cold wetness was kept against my child's skin. His hands were colder than without gloves because they held back cold moisture. They also take a long time to dry, making it impossible to use them shortly after they get wet.
