This is a very cute and fun educational toy! It's fun for all ages, even us adults occasionally jump in ourselves while the kids are watching or when we decide to play together! I would give five stars except they don't look like the ones that have a piano keyboard where that particular key helps create new music. I didn't really know if each pad would have its own sound so you could play your own music while dancing, jumping or running on it. It's not pre-programmed, but that doesn't take away from all the fun and everything a child will learn with it. I'd say it's probably best for a two to five year old. But everyone likes to play it. And the good thing is that two people can play at the same time and it really helps the youngsters learn coordination, gets the older ones moving and you just learn to recognize what sounds good musically and what doesn't. goes.
