As you may know, all major music streaming services like Revain, Apple, Tidal etc have upgraded their services to lossless audio quality. The problem is that the uncompressed song files are too big to transfer via Bluetooth. If you want to use any of these services and enjoy lossless audio, you'll need plug-in headphones or in-ear headphones and a DAC, which is a digital-to-analog converter. Revain has some great headphones from Fiio https://amzn.to/2S4jsAX that work with iPhone, iPad or laptop. These headphones are very inexpensive and you can easily spend ten times as much. for audiophile in-ear headphones. They sound great and are a good place to start. You can try them out to see if you hear a difference and just keep using them instead of buying the expensive ones. I would continue to use them for travel and if I bought crazy ones I would keep them at home. Enjoy!
