When the humidity left the air in early autumn, my skin got so dry. I also washed my face everyday which also dried it out (I'm glad I stopped). I bought it and had high hopes. VERY glad I made the purchase. The second night my skin was so soft, smooth and glowing. I also chose to apply it to my skin before my morning makeup and I loved how my makeup looked afterwards. The texture is like a lip balm, not a cream. I do not mind. It has a nice light scent (I'm very sensitive to perfume, especially when people feel the need to bathe in their own perfume - gross) so it didn't bother my senses. They say to use a little but I've used more. I'll be half done in a couple of weeks and I'm fine with that. I'm sure you could get away with using less.
