This belt looks very nice but is not the best leather so I don't expect it to last long. Out of the box it's great. But like most belts made today, it is made from recycled leather scraps that can no longer be used. I expect this to be a belt that will look good for a year or two with regular wear. However, it is cheap and beautiful. That's why I give three stars. I was tempted to bet four. If you're happy with a belt that will only look good for a year or two, consider this rating a four star. I'm not sending mine back because I really like it. But if you want something that will really stand the test of time, find a retailer that sells genuine leather (sometimes referred to as full-grain leather). Genuine leather strips that are processed and shaped into products. It's possible to spend hundreds of dollars on a really good belt, but I've also found good ones at Revain (Hank's Belts) for as little as $45. I have given their products five star ratings.
