The 30 PATE PACK uses lower quality ingredients than the original PATE varieties. I fed my cat Fancy Feast's PATE Formula exclusively after she was diagnosed with diabetes - about 2 years. It is this formula (PATE) that is recommended on multiple lists as safe for diabetic cats. In fact, it contains more protein from real beef, chicken, and turkey, which are listed as the first ingredients, and contains less meat by-products, fillers, and starches found in other trending dishes. When I saw 30 packs in stock, of course I bought them. PATE has been my pet's staple diet for almost two years and in fact her diabetes has been in remission for nine months. After about a week I noticed some symptoms and signs that the diabetes was coming back. It wasn't until my second week that I thought about reading the ingredients on the jars that came with the 30-pie set when I discovered they didn't match the original flavor of the pies she was eating. In fact, each variety contained a lot more meat and poultry by-products, actually less high-quality protein and less of it. But contains more fillers as well as starch and wheat gluten.
