It has a soft texture when wet so isn't too rough or abrasive on the skin. It has a long and wide top so your back gets the same care and attention as your front. The towel leaves the skin very soft and super clean! I couldn't find any traces of dead skin from accidentally exfoliating with the Sasawashi Exfoliating Washi Paper Body Scrub Towel. Right after the shower my skin is smooth and ready for the lotion. Very impressive product!
