I bought this as soon as I saw pictures of what it 'can do' but was completely disappointed when I tried it. As seen in the photos, I mounted my Nikon DSLR which weighs 1.2kg (<3lbs) (the product says no more than 3kg in manual mode) and I immediately realized that the plastic mount was too flexible is to carry the weight properly. Practiced in use, but the camera only wobbles due to slight instability. I'm already considering returning it, but maybe I can use it with my lighter video gear? I pulled out the phone holder; It held my Note 8 with uncomfortable security and the ball mount couldn't be tightened enough to prevent it from tipping over. It got looser and looser as I tried to tighten it and now it just spins freely when the pin is fully tightened. Garbage. For me personally, that's a zero rating. I think if you just install light hardware like GoPros, microphones, LEDs, maybe a small video camera it will work. For this and for the flexible assembly and configuration options of the further developed reversible model, I award 2 stars. It could be generous. I might have liked this product if that was my original intent. However, be sure to take my advice and don't do the skydive shown in the photo, I think your gear will be shaken off this thing in an instant. This is a Neewer Cell Phone Holder (B07NWH2CGS) for the same overall price.
