Let me start by saying this is my first Logitech mouse I've ever owned and for the most part it's great. It works well on all surfaces and feels very comfortable in my hand. I had no trouble connecting it to my custom built Windows 10 PC and it works flawlessly; exactly as advertised. The battery life is fantastic and in the few months I've owned this mouse I've had to charge it once or twice. I work A LOT on my PC with Premier Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects. and Illustrator. So I needed something ergonomic and functional, and the Logitech MX Master 2S fitted perfectly and ticked all of the boxes on my list. The extra buttons on the thumb rest (including forward, backward and an optional scroll wheel) are great and can assign commands to every single piece of software I use on my PC and I love this mouse to death and if you like the idea of swapping them out of commands with one click on this mouse, you will probably like it too. I may have a small issue (before I mention the bigger issue) that Logitech decided to use Micro-USB Type-B instead of Type-C. Type-C is generally easier to work with, and my Android smartphone and many other devices I own use Type-C, so it's frustrating having to carry around an extra cable that I only use about once in the use month. HOWEVER, THERE IS A BIG PROBLEM. I ordered the MX Master 2S in light grey, it looks fantastic for the first few weeks but things go wrong when cleaning. You can see that Logitech used this gray soft rubber material on 60% of the mouse body and the top left and right buttons were hard plastic, is that the result? The discoloration is EVERYWHERE and almost impossible to get rid of. I've tried cleaning it with water and a white cloth but the discoloration persists and be aware I'm a very hygienic person. Despite my best efforts, I NEVER use my computer or other electronic devices with dirty hands. I can't hold this damn mouse properly. I'm afraid of using any sort of rough cleaning as it might damage or corrode the material that covers this mouse, and Logitech doesn't offer replacement parts for this thing. So my advice? If you don't like gray/yellow mice, AVOID light gray at ALL COST. Opt for Graphite or Midnight Blue mice and DO NOT buy Light Gray unless you want to spend $100 on a decoration. Because I promise you that no matter how clean your hands are, you will discolor this item due to the extremely poor quality and/or sensitivity of the material it is made of. I wish the successors to this mouse were made out of a completely different material, one that doesn't discolour from simple everyday use, an all hard plastic body would be much better.
