That's a good thing, but the instructions were too simple. If you do NOT insert the whip into the screws cross-side out and hold it with your fingers, the wood screw will split the wood as the metal part slides into the wood. When I tightened it it wasn't even flush with the two pieces of wood that needed to be joined and it happened. After I found out it didn't happen again but the 3 areas in my office are now separate. Top feathers are almost impossible to make yourself, so get someone to help you with the final steps if possible. I think it took me 3 hours to assemble it myself but I had a problem splitting the tree. Once assembled the whole cabinet is good but I want the white oak cabinet to have one side panel closed like the white one. The whole point is to dress up the tray! I ordered contact paper to cover it on the side. It fits the auto tray I ordered and the holes on the back are great for cords.
