The microphone stopped working after a month

I am so disappointed in these headphones! I've been using them for a little over a month and the mic has stopped working. I use them when walking, to listen to music and also to make phone calls. I'm sad I can only use them for one purpose and will probably need another pair of headphones! Not cool.
