I would refuse these bags if I were you.
I really wanted to like these bags, and at first I liked them. I went broke - ditched our plastic ziplock bags and just used these silicone bags. Unfortunately, after storing things like onions in it, the smell lingers, even after I've washed and soaked them in vinegar water. They also discolour easily if you store something with tomato sauce in them. After using them for several months, I find it very difficult to close (seal) the packages. Finally, I have a hard time cleaning them, but that's because I'm lazy. ;) After a few months of use, I am now throwing out bags that smell strong and are difficult to seal.
