Review on 🚚 Trailer Valet TV5X LiftJack by Justin Ferguson

Does the job but production is questionable

I have a trailer valet and it does the job for a 2000 lb rig. I can't talk about anything more difficult. I had a few issues with valet parking straight out of the box. First, the screws weren't long enough. A second longer set would be nice. I went to the hardware store and bought longer screws, that was it. The second more important problem concerns the attachment. Mounting pin holes on bracket and bushing do not line up properly. I can't get the needle all the way in, so I can't attach the servant. The pin holds the valet securely to the bracket. Without them, you'll be stuck with a heavy paper load. This is clearly a manufacturing defect and a critical one. I went back to the hardware store and had to get a 14mm hex head bolt and nylon nut that was slightly smaller than the 5/8 hitch pin to get it all the way through. I can easily get my boat out of the garage. I couldn't get the boat over the threshold of the garage when trying to reverse it into the garage. The tires start spinning. Not enough weight in front. I ordered 2.5" x 24" rubber ramps to create a gentle 6 degree incline over the garage entrance. If you are planning on garage parking your boat and have a threshold greater than 1 inch, you will need this. Long-term use and durability need to be confirmed. In general I am very satisfied. Would have given 4 or 5 stars if it weren't for the assembly issues. Below is the threshold ramp I ordered from Revain.
