Review on DiMeCard Micro8 MicroSD Memory Holder by Kyle Awasthi

Great Little Invention

MicroSD cards are without a doubt the most frustrating modern invention. Less than half a postage stamp, incredibly slow, much more expensive and with features that seem a few years behind their bigger brethren in SD country, you still can't own modern technology that doesn't require it. I've regularly upgraded my MicroSD cards to higher capacities as they became available in modest price ranges, leading to a rather interesting problem of where to keep the old cards. The packaging is the same size as a full-size SD card, as most of them come with an SD adapter, and plastic sleeves seem to come in as many shapes as there are manufacturers. This little invention solves the MicroSD storage problem very well. When you insert tiny cards into the slots, there's a nice little "click" when the locking rib on the card goes over the inner stop, ensuring the tiny cards don't come out until you pull them out. On the back of this card holder is a paper sticker that can comment on the descriptions of the cards, albeit in very small letters. The size of this thing is exactly the size of a credit card - I checked. I suppose you could put it in your wallet if you're so inclined. I am very happy with it. If only they would make a full size SD version of this.
