I can't explain it, I just love the smell! I compared it to another so called #1 best soap and this Hero was just as good except Hero had an amazing smell. Depending on the fabric, it will stay on the fabric longer. The main factor and the best part: it really helps to get rid of the smell on our gym/sportswear. It really does remove all odors, and no other soap would do it quite as well. EDIT: Yes, everything was good about the soap, the first one I bought. I ordered a second 100 oz. it didn't look the same. Didn't clean my clothes well, didn't smell the same, and was a bluish color mixed with green. For some reason they settled on 100 oz here on Amazon, I was about to order again to do one last test as I really liked this soap. Well I order less, the same. Funny smell and didn't clean my white shirts like the first order. NEVER BUY THIS AGAIN. Piece S overpriced. I give 2 stars because the real version of the soap I got first was really good.
