Review on Feline Pine Original Litter 7 Pound by Lauren Miller

I recently bought Feline Pine for my 7 year old cat because I don't like the mess, stains and smell of clay litter. I put 1-2 inches of Feline Pine in the smaller bowl, which lasts about a week with daily removal of the solids. Liquid waste turns the FP pellets into a kind of powder that expands, so use the recommended depth! This is a GREAT PRODUCT. One day I ran out of Feline Pine, so I filled Kitty's box with Old Clay Pine in anticipation of more FP being delivered. She kicked the clay litter and defecated outside the box, odd behavior for a cat that had never had a problem with the litter before. Later that day she returned to the box. I secretly watched as she scattered the earthenware bedding everywhere again. Then she hung onto the box and POOPED ON THE FLOOR AGAIN. I later discovered that she had urinated in a large flowerpot. I rushed her to the vet who only said that Kitty was still overweight and to call if the litter box problem persisted. Luckily the cat jaw arrived later that day. I threw away the clay filler, filled the FP box and everything is fine! Kitty recommends FELINE PINE. Me too, but we all know whose opinion matters.
