Above all, a very strong scent! If I use more than three sprays at a time my toddler will have a coughing fit and so will I. We also use shampoo from this line and I think they go together perfectly. My daughter has long, thin hair that is too dry not to use conditioner but too thin to use a deep moisturizer. One shampoo isn't enough so I spray it on her damp hair after a bath and it's wonderful! The hair becomes shiny and soft after drying. However, it is definitely not a detangler. I used this in the mornings to help with the headboard and the brush got stuck. Tears flowed and I had to carefully pull out the brush as the squirming toddler tried to escape. So I used a different Johnson detangling spray instead.
