As a user of the old G502 for 2.5 years, I can say: someone will like it, someone will not. I like it. Some pros: 1. Hero 25k sensor, 25600 DPI, now also on the G502 Hero. 2. Optotech. switches - there will be no double click which can appear on the old G502. 3 (subjectively) weight and size, the Logitech G502X is more suitable for my large palm. 4. Curly rubber inserts on the sides were removed, they were replaced with others that are easier to clean. 5. New Teflon, virtually indestructible. Its cons: 1. Wire without braid, although now on the regular G502 Hero as well. 2. there is no RGB backlight, but there was on the old version. On the lightspeed version, okay, but on the wired one, you could leave it
