My toddler loved this set in a different color and size so I bought a size 2 as he is about to have a big growth. While the 3T set was comparable in size to the Carter 3T outfit, this red 4T outfit is just huge! Pants don't fit at all. This is more of a size 5-6, not 4T. So disappointed! Since we liked the first set, I will try it in a different color. I can't return it as I've tried washing and shrinking it. Bad luck. While I hoped it would shrink for a comfortable fit in this case, I should have gone up the size with minimal shrinkage after a few hot washes and tumble dry. I'll save it for next year, but in the meantime I'll buy another 3T. My son weighs 35.1 pounds and is consistently in the 80th percentile for height. He is not yet 3 years old. He loves the green and black warm fleece set and it goes with both tops and bottoms.
