I've been wearing headphones since I was a kid and that was a long time ago. I have reference headphones, studio headphones, old school Pickerings, Beats Studio (just to see what the noise was), JBL Free, Klipsch, Sony. I have no idea how they work with a phone call but they are incredibly immersive. I mean be immersive there. They get you in the plate, perfection, warts and all that. For dual riders, that's amazing. I was expecting them to be a bit heavy or too crunchy. no The bass is tight and articulate, the highs have body rather than noise. I'm beyond impressed and can be a grumpy old man when it comes to "audio today". I got these buddies testing their pace with electronica, dance, R&B and jazz, old and new, classic rock, shred, 50 year old examples of pop music. If the recording is done right, they'll put a singer in your head, Herbie Hancock's keys or Van Halen's guitar. It's easier for me to pick out the parts in the onslaught of Dream Theater and rediscover that Beethoven's quartets were the work of a mad genius. All with the outside world a million miles away. Yes, I use superlatives, but it does me so much good. Forget good things for money, simply good.
