I have been a Van Heusen customer for many years, in my previous professional life, and I requested dress shirts. Knowing the country of origin, I believe this shirt is made from outsourced short-staple cotton, which is similar to the cotton used in denim, based on my decades of experience in the cotton industry. It feels a bit rough and prickly, not shirt quality. After a single wash and gentle drying, it showed wrinkles and creases despite being advertised as wrinkle free. I sent it back instead of ironing it after every wash/dry.
