I have hot-swap bays on my PC and keep swappable and swappable disks around depending on what files I need. I needed anti-static zippered bags to keep them inside and they work really well. Losing a drive can make a world of difference if you don't have backups, so storing them in anti-static bags is definitely a good idea. Use them and protect your data if you have spare 3.5 drives. Even if it's an old drive, just keep it on hand as a spare. You will protect him well. And best of all, they don't have open ends like the packs that most CDs are sold in. This makes them more convenient as the disc will not fall out during storage.
