I liked how easy the install was. I purchased a 12" 4 light system, connected 2 12" lights using the connector provided and installed the connected kits on the cabinets on either side of the oven. The double-sided 3M tape ensures that the lights stay attached as the device is very light. I used a hidden outlet in the top cabinet above the stove that the microwave plugs into, so I drilled holes to hide the wires. One note: I knew I would need longer wires than what came with the kit. The description can be a bit misleading. I bought male to male cable because it described the connection to other devices that I needed to do. It also describes the power connector which I thought was for the power supply/transformer. If you need to extend the power connector that plugs into the end of the motion detector, you will need one end of the connector and the other connector. I was 18" but I was able to easily have a 20" cable (male/female) shipped to me the next day. A very simple and quick DYI project. So far I really like the dimming setting and the motion sensor. Hope they hold up over time.
