I am impressed with this portable monitor. It's early as I just got it. This is surprising because I've been disappointed by so many monitors that claim 400-500 nits. a couple of notes: you need to be plugged into an outlet or have a free lightning connector outside the display (so 2 wires). It won't be as bright with a USB-A connector, or just 1 cable with a T4 connector. Another disappointment was the lack of a carrying case. Save the foam to protect your monitor screen when you buy the carry case, but the end result with 2 cables (1 power to wall socket or T4 port. 1 to display input) gives a shiny, bright and vibrant output! I think any monitor that requires 500 nits will need to be powered from a wall outlet or T4 connection
