I'm a guy who does RTFMs. The front of the DX300S manual says "PLEASE READ THIS MANUAL CAREFULLY BEFORE USING". The instructions are in English only. The instruction manual is included in the pictures. Step 2. "Before use, make sure the power supply is sufficient." no instructions on how to accomplish this task and I don't see a way to accomplish it. Step 3. "Please check if the filter appears normal." without describing what "normal" or "abnormal" looks like. Should the fly be embedded in the glass or not? Mine doesn't have it. It is in order? Step 4. "Check whether the protective films are damaged, whether the solar cells are not damaged or clogged with dust, especially check whether the arc sensor is dirty." There is a product diagram on page 4 showing where the solar cell but does not identify the "arc sensor" or the type of "contamination" I should be looking for. Step 6. "Please check the tightness before each use. ." mmm. "Light tightness" I have never tested the tightness of my lamp and I don't know how to do it. There are no instructions in the manual. Step 7. "Choose the correct color number .. "The shadow number can be manually adjusted from 9 to 13...turning the adjustment knob sets the correct shadow number." "Fast" or "Slow" button, except there is no delay button on the helmet. Instructions include how to adjust the "Sensitivity" knob, except there is also no "Sensitivity" knob available on other helmets, but the instructions require me to read about these features before telling me that my helmet doesn't have them. After assembling the helmet, I removed the "protective film" from the inner lens box, scratched the inner lens by a not very protective film. I think I can look through but they really should have done something to prevent the headband from scratching the lens during shipping. I haven't actually used the helmet yet, but I decided to start looking through the manual. he had a moment to fret about it. I'll update when I'm done with that.
