This antenna replaced a PBD WA-2608 which had served me well for a year. It was slightly damaged during a hurricane, knocking over the element. It continued to function properly until MeTV was pulled from one station and moved to a station with less power. I lost my MeTV. I just bought a new LG 50" and still no MeTV. I found this new antenna did an excellent job of returning my favorite OTA channel. Installation was easy. I actually sat in my chair and put it together with no problems. I used the J-pole of an old antenna which worked great. This new antenna worked as advertised. It's slightly larger than my old one and has more metal than the PBD WA-2608. I screwed in two self-tapping screws to make the antenna even more secure attached to the mast. It wasn't necessary but I'm a little worried about things falling off my roof. I don't think you can buy a better antenna. I live in the Missouri Ozarks so we have our fair one proportion of hills and whoops nearest tv towers are within 70 miles of line of sight some of these antennas are over 2,000 feet tall for fun i moved the antenna and got a There was a faint spot on three St. Louis stations that I couldn't see, but they were about 236 miles away.
