These shorts are big in the waist. I ordered a Wednesday for my 9 year old daughter and they fell in love straight away. If your child likes to wear a harness while playing golf, this might work. It's so hard to find girls golf clothes, especially shorts, I was disappointed in their sizing. I'm afraid the small size will be too short.
