Bamboo Nursing Pads

My sister gave me some of these when she stopped breastfeeding. These nursing pads are comfortable. This is my second time pumping exclusively and comfort is everything for me and to maintain a healthy supply. This is the first time I try this brand. Before that I made my own nursing pads out of two layers of flannel. So I don't have much leakage at night either, as I miss the MOTN pump; So I wear nursing pads mainly to keep my breasts and bra free of lanolin residue as I don't wipe them off after each session to avoid irritation. This has worked great for me and I've never had a problem with proper hygiene of all parts of my pump. These pads have a standard shape like other brands but I like that they don't have unnecessary elastic on the sides that make them protrude under clothing. They conform to my chest and the back is soft with no sharp corners that allow chest pads to show through my clothing. I also don't remove adhesive strips because I've had trouble with the adhesive peeling off my bra after wearing it all day; This has happened to me with every brand I've used: Lansinoh, Medela, Nuk etc. This has worked great for me and I haven't had any issues with pads shifting under my bra. In other words, the pads stay in place. The pad that touches the breast has a synthetic feel and sticks to my nipple quite easily when the pad is removed. It looks and feels like a lightweight upholstery fabric. The only brand that never did that was Nuk. This is a disadvantage as it should be the most important part of the breast form, not what lies underneath. Therefore 4 stars. Still, I'm happy with them because of the overall comfort, feel, and look.
