I work on the computer all day and have been for 9 years. After 1 year of this work I developed terrible eye pain and sensitivity to light. After visiting 3 different ophthalmologists over the course of 3 years, using 4 different eye drops, accounting for hormonal influences, etc., I finally found that using blue light blocking glasses relieves eye pain and significantly reduces sensitivity to light. I recently bought 3 different blue light blocking glasses at 3 different prices at the same time and tried them all without paying attention to the price of each. I really thought it was best of all, after all you usually get what you pay for. This pair was the most expensive pair I've bought, but it didn't seem to protect my eyes in any way from computer lights or even UV light from a window. I'm sending them back and using the more efficient and, as it turns out, cheaper options I've found.
