Easy to assemble and my cat loved it straight away. She played with him all the time. Don't expect long life for the price. At the 4 month mark I had to re-tap the rope because it tore and it came loose. I would wrap and glue it back. The rope will break into smaller strands, which you will also find everywhere. If you are planning to buy it every 6 months which requires work and cleaning on your behalf then this is certainly the product for you. If you want something more comfortable I would say skip this product. I am writing this at the 9 month mark after purchase and at this point it is out of filament and the cat is barely touching it.
