Works as advertised

The crossover is a passive band splitting device, in this case good drivers for a three way arrangement and it does the job. You don't need to bother with the exact transition points as a spec enthusiast as it will work with any set of good drivers. You also don't have to worry about the exact impedance values of the speakers. In my case I have 1977 Speakerlab drivers with 15" woofers, horn drivers and tweeters. This is the same array as the original Klipsch angled horns and I added a 12" woofer with a 15" woofer in each cabinet. They are connected in series for better impedance matching. One of the old crossovers eventually failed and I had to replace both. The crossovers featured L-shaped pads for the Quakers and tweeters, which isn't the case on this unit. I had to use the contour controls on my amp to adjust the levels of the three drivers. This works great if you have a complex enough amp with controls to do it. You have to solder the wires into the pinholes to install them and I wouldn't mind using simpler screw type connectors instead. Front speakers and everything is fine.
