All PC components are made in Asia. The only thing you get with a brand name like HP is a hefty price premium and a bunch of malware to boost your bottom line. This device is incredibly compact and quiet. Windows installation is clean, licensed, and free of unnecessary trial software. Ideal for a media server or other dedicated application or kiosk style setup. The only thing that bothers me is that the 2 USB ports are a bit restrictive. Basically, you can't connect anything other than a keyboard and mouse unless you add a USB extender, which kinda messes up a really clean install. If there was a way to add 2 more USB ports this would be the perfect little box.
