I bought a table to put between two single beds in my granddaughter's room. I only had 17 inches to work with. This table worked well and the color matched the furniture in her bedroom perfectly. I wouldn't call it redwood. I would call it a dark honey color. When you think of mahogany, you think of a very dark brown. ... It's not that dark. But I guessed it based on the reviews and photos and I'm glad I did because it fits! It fits, it's well made and sturdy, and most importantly, she loves it!
