Review on CARL 18-inch Heavy 📏 Duty Rotary Paper Trimmer - 12238 by Kelly Caballes

I've been using it for about 8 months now and I think it's time to write a review. I am a bookbinder and bought this trimmer specifically for this purpose. This is not a fast cutting tool. If you're looking for something to quickly pop in a piece of paper, cut it out, and go about your business, this isn't for you. If you want to make really precise cuts out of a stack of paper, this is definitely something you'll be interested in. First, it's heavy and doesn't look like a regular hand trimmer. I spent some time in craft stores and among scrapbookers, card makers, and various paper crafters. They have foldable plastic trimmers that they take with them everywhere. It's not one of them. I just put it right next to my book shelf and no longer have to measure that particular cut. The trimmer cuts paper, cardboard, Chipboard and book box good. It takes some getting used to at first. I was very comfortable with my other trimmer (Carl 12200 Bidex Professional 10-Blade Rotary Trimmer, Metal Base, 12 x 11) and it took me some time to get used to it. As I did so, I realized that this is one of those tools that will be with me for the rest of my life. The kit also includes spare blades and a cutting mat.
