I love this bedspread! I have a guest bedroom with buttery yellow walls and old family heirlooms and photographs. It's just wonderful. Can't wait to make window covers to complement it. SIZE: I washed and dried mine knowing it would shrink a bit. I estimate I lost about 3 inches either way. Nevertheless, the bedspread extends to the edge of my bed on both sides and also to the end. To reach the end I can't lift it. at the top. There are a few centimeters less. I have this on a queen bed with a 5 3/4" deep mattress. If you have a deeper mattress I highly recommend getting a king pillow and cutting out king pillows. With basic sewing skills can easily do this. But it doesn't reach to the bottom. Photography in this aspect is misleading. COLOUR: I think the photo (viewed on 3 different computers and devices) makes it look more like the slate blue color of Wedgewood huh I wanted. In reality the color is a VERY light green hue. I would still call it blue but more of a wedgewood blue mixed with a hint of sea foam. It's beautiful and I haven't changed my mind about leaving it .But I thought it might be of interest to others.DESIGN: I want the pillow designs to be centered.This is a large repeating pattern and it would look even more spectacular if it was centered e. It's not centered in the photo, so I wasn't expecting that; it would just be a nicer gesture.
