This has greatly alleviated my problems with RSI. Overall, this is the best palm rest I've ever used. When you buy these things online, you never know what they're going to look like, so I'll give you a fun but perfect comparison: you've got the density and softness of fat on your thighs. Also, unlike many memory foam products, it instantly springs back to its original shape (as if you're putting pressure on your thigh). The fabric is soft and does not stick to the skin. Feels (but doesn't look) like incredibly soft velvet. Although the fabric is dark black, it is not a dust magnet: the closure of the fabric is too tight for food and dust particles to get stuck. The base has a sticky substance that sticks very strongly to my desk when exposed to a significant amount of dust. And as another reviewer said, if you wash off the dust it will return to its original stickiness. (The sticky substance leaves NO residue on the table.) Once again: the perfect, best palm rest. I am attaching two photos to show you the size of the mouse pad compared to a regular sized mouse. I have medium sized hands so I am also attaching a photo of me holding the mouse so you can see the small footprint on the table. Although it's small, it's big enough that you'll never have to take your mouse off the mouse pad if you've set the right speed on your computer.
