Review on Charger ThinkPad 720 13IKB Spectre Adapter by Andrew Arneson

I bought this to use as an extra charger for my laptop. I think I could leave a charger at home on my desk and use it when I move somewhere else. At first I liked it. It charges my computer well and is about as fast as a factory charger. Then after a few minutes I noticed that the block was getting very hot. No need to worry just yet, most chargers do this when they are actively charging. About an hour later I shifted position on the bed and the charger slid down and touched my thigh. Wow. I jumped out so fast I almost dropped my computer on the floor! The loaded one was so hot I couldn't even pick it up. If I left it on my bed for another 30 minutes it probably wouldn't burn a hole in my sheets! I returned it after a 1st degree burn and will be purchasing an OEM charger instead. It's not worth saving $25 to burn yourself and possibly damage your computer! Save yourself the hassle and don't buy this crap!
